The Procedure of Water Borehole Drilling
Step 1: Geological Survey
A Geological survey accesses the geographical landscape and composition of your ground and ascertains the location and depth at which the water drilling should take place.Step 2: Drilling Equipment Mobilization
Mobilization of the Drilling Equipment Once payment has been settled, our drilling equipment is mobilized from our operations site to the drilling site.
Step 3: Drilling and Installation
Once on the site, our rig locates the area identified by the hydrogeologist as suitable for drilling. The machine uses a bit and a hammer to penetrate the ground and rods which further push the head of the drill towards the ground.
Step 4: Determining the Yield of The Borehole
In order to most accurately gauge the yield of a domestic water borehole an aquifer test is performed. This involves installing a test pump and pumping borehole water for a fixed set of variables; a given time at a given rate, and then assessing the test’s impact on the water level in the borehole. Maximum yield is achieved by increasing the abstraction rate, ensuring optimum drawdown of water in the borehole.
